Weather:
July and August are the summer months in Beijing with temperatures typically
ranging from 25 to 30°C and sometimes more. Bottled water will be widely
available for spectators to keep hydrated and most venues (hotels, restaurants,
indoor arenas, etc) are air conditioned. Beijing can experience occasional evening
downpours so it is advisable to bring a lightweight waterproof jacket.

Money
The official currency of mainland China is the Renminbi (RMB), whose principal unit
is the yuan. The official currency of Hong Kong is the Hong Kong dollar.
